Our programs are designed specifically for teens who love to sing, act, and dance. These are individualized intensives, training each student to their specific level of experience.

Our Summer Program, hosted at The Paideia School in Druid Hills Neighborhood, is a Music Theater training intensive for 13-18 year olds from 10am- 4pm Mondays- Fridays to focus on music theater performing!  We will emphasize dance, healthy and powerful singing, acting and end with a public showcase! We are proud to offer 2- 2 week sessions in June and July, 2025!

Who we are

Beverly Blouin has been teaching in the Atlanta area for over 30 years and has taught singers of all abilities and all styles of music. She has directed multiple theatric productions including Chicago, Grease, Mamma Mia, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Newsies, and directed the Atlanta Opera High School Institute.  

Ms. Blouin's students have been accepted to and received scholarships to schools such as New York University, Oberlin, San Fransisco Conservatory, Florida State University, The New School, and the Manhattan School of Music. She teaches singers with careers on Broadway, professional singer songwriters, and nationally known opera singers.

Beverly's performing credits range from solo appearances with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Opera, to the Alliance Theater, Horizon Theater, Theatrical Outfit, to Libby's Cabaret and Eddie's Attic. She is a two time regional finalist in the Metropolitan Opera's Young Artist competition and a featured soloist in the Decatur New Music Festival. Blouin is a unique recitalist/ lecturer and a jazz singer who has performed across the United States and throughout Europe.  

Stage director and choreographer Ricardo Aponte has directed over 15 musicals and choreographed over 30 musicals, operas, and industrial shows nationwide. Ricardo is originally from Venezuela and resides in Atlanta, GA, where he has become one of the most in-demand creators, recognized with 3 Suzi Awards and ten nominations.  Recent work: Director and/or Choreographer- Atlanta Opera (Candide, Cabaret, Revolution of Steve Jobs, Carmen, and Frida), Cinderella (Aurora Theatre), Luisa Fernanda (Florentine Opera) White Christmas (Jennie T. Anderson). He’s also the founder and artistic director of Theatre Platform Project, an educational nonprofit, providing performing arts programs to diverse communities in Atlanta.

Based out of Decatur, Rebecca Blouin studied vocal performance, theater and dance at The University of Mississippi and Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. In the last 25 years, Blouin has continued her teaching by educating teenagers and young adults in performance skills including:  proper vocal techniques, acting execution, staging and movement skills, audition techniques, comprehensive knowledge of the college audition process , and selecting proper repertoire. As well as operating her own studios, Blouin has led master classes, directed and choreographed for Decatur High School, The Paideia School, Grady High School, The Lovett School, Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, Southern Vermont College, Sonatina School of Music, and Northwest Delta Arts and Choral Society. Rebecca coaches performing artists of all ages in authentic performance, communication, and vulnerability. Blouin is a teacher of voice, movement, acting, musical theater, and classical vocal techniques, helping young students get into the best music and theater programs in the country.

Beverly Blouin Voice Studio and Ricardo Aponte present a Spring Music Theater training program for 13-18 year olds from 11:00 am- 1pm over 10 weeks to focus on music theater performing!  We will emphasize dance, healthy and powerful singing, and acting!
